Iyobinte Pusthakam Movie Review

Hats off to Amal for his brilliant direction which take the
audience to a the world where the story is happening and made them feel that they are a part of the story too. Gopan Chidamaram’s screen play and Shyam Pushkaran’s dialogues were terrific. Music by Neha S Nair & Yakzan Gary Pereira was another highlight as it
just made the story more and more convincing and stupendously transferred the emotions from the silver screen to the heart of the audience. Fahadh Faasil, Lal
and Jayasurya were competing with each other to make
their character perfect and they delivered their best along with Jinu, Chempan, Vinayakan, Isha, Padmapriya, Sreejith Ravi, Lena etc. And we recommend this to all and its film you must watch if you want to see something special from a highly talented group of young people.

Iyobinte Pusthakam Directed by Amal neerad and produced by Amal and Fahadh Faasil was released today. The film had already raised the curiosity level of the fans and spectators by its terrific posters and of course its star cast which includes Fahadh Faasil, Jayasurya, Lal,Chenban Vinod, Padmapriya, Isha
Shervani etc. But the main factor everybody waited for this film was none other than Amal Neerad. Right from his first film ‘Big B’ starred Mammootty, he had a huge
fan following and all his films later had got unbelievable openings. But none of his films like Big B, Sagar Alias Jacky, Anwar, Bachelor Party had gone on to have a
long run. Because in those films he tried only to thrill the audience with stylized visuals and sharp one liners rather than tell a story with the visuals and effects
needed for it. But in the anthology film ‘5 Sundarikal’, Amal Neerad directed a film ‘Kullante Bharya’, and for the first time he really showed that he had a great future as a director through it. And now ‘Iyyobinte Pusthakam’. Amal had really gone miles forward as a
director . We can see it in this film.
We are not telling about its story in detail, because we want you all to enjoy and experience every bit of it all the surprises it has. It was the story of Iyyob ((played by Lal) and his 3 sons Dimitri (played by chempan vinod), Aivan (played by Jinu), and Alloshi (played by
Fahadh Faasil) and their struggles between themselves and with the the cunning and mighty rival Ravuthar (played by Jayasurya). It is a period film that set in pre-
independence time and Moonnar is the main location were the story is said to be happening.
The story had real life historical connections as well. All the artists, technicians were brilliant and we cannot tell who done better. That perfection is the highlight of this
film. The film is a complete package. It has emotions,
action, thrilling dialogues, Romance, revenge,
betrayal, loyalty, music, historical references at above all
sterling performances from Fahadh Faasil , Lal and Jayasurya and unbelievably amazing visuals from Amal Neerad for which he is famous among film viewers.
